Gregory Jbara plays the character of Garrett Moore in all seasons of Blue Bloods. His first appearance was near the end of Season One in the episode All That Glitters and has been a recurring guest star since.
Gregory was born and raised in Westland, Michigan, which is located just west of Detroit. He attended the University of Michigan's School of Music, entering their musical theatre program but later transferred to Julliard School to complete his BFA in acting.
In 2009 he won the Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Awards for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for the role of "Jackie Elliot" in the Broadway production of Billy Elliot. He has also starred as "Billy Flynn" in the Broadway revival of Chicago. Also, he received the BackStageWest Garland 2000 Award for his performance in the West Coast Premier of George Furth's Precious Sons.
While a great deal of his acting has been in theatre, he is credited with roles in over 50 television shows and movies. Several instances are recurring roles, but his longest recurring role to date has been on Blue Bloods. His wide variety of roles include voicing characters in shows such as American Dad, and Family Guy. Gregory has also had recurring roles on The Other Hef, and Grounded for Life.
He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Julie, and their two sons.
